Students who suffer from trauma often miss out on a lot of self regulation development due to the parents or dyad having a stronger relationship with drugs and alcohol than the child.
Sensory modulation is not effective once they are in the red. It needs to happen before this.
Over 90% of students on the spectrum have some sort of sensory dis-regulation.
Lego based therapy - look this up. This is good for helping students interact with other.
Jeanette can do this training with us it takes about and hour and a half.

Addressing sensory needs are essential; ignoring them or hoping they will 'disappear' with time is not an option.
