Reflecting on Blog Posts

During our Staff Meeting last night with Donna something that stuck with me is that I do not yet know enough about the format that the students Blog Posts should take to ensure the most is made of them so that the learning is the greatest and the acceleration observed through Manaiakalani research can be made.

I need to look at good examples of the sections required and make time to specifically teach this to the students at the beginning of Term 2.  I will look at Venessa's students blogs initially.

TITLE

LEARNING THAT OCCURRED (written and an image or work sample if possible DLO)
REFLECTION (this can be about the learning or the posting - any part of the full learning cycle that occurred).

ACTIVELY COMMENT ON OTHER PEOPLE'S BLOGS (Using the Manaiakalani Process).

Venessa shared these with me which will be very helpful.  Thanks Venessa!

  1. Hi Veronica. I really enjoyed reading your reflection on blogging with your students. Great to have the resources to link in to, rather than starting from scratch. I look forward to watching your journey as your support your students through great blog posts!

  2. Hey Veronica!
Blog posts with my kids is something I have really worried about tackling. Your notes above are helpful and I look forward to hearing more about your journey with this.
